Kbeauty

Skin:
• Invest more in skincare and pay more attention to their skin and skin routine, they try to achieve the glass skin, which is clear smooth skin that has a healthy dewy glow and shine.
• Fair skin
• Natural look, natural beauty

Base:
• Korea is known for their cushion foundations that will be make their skin look brighter (usually looking lighter)
• Prefer using CC creams and BB creams, because they are more safer and good for the skin and give a dewy look. It also brightens the skin.
• Contouring the nose and jawline (contouring it look in the shape of a V) and sumtimes the forehead
• Blush is used a lot by teenagers and highschool students, who like to have the blush more prominent. Covering on a more larger surface of the cheeks.
• Highlighting in common places but highlighter is very subtle, because they rely on the dewiness of the base to already give that healthy shine.

Eyebrows:
• Eyebrows are done straight , not too arched and done very soft. They use a light color for brows.

Lashes:
• Usually stick with natural lashes and just curl and apply mascara.
• If lashes are too small , a natural lashes will do.

Eyeshadow:
• Ombrè of color, where the darkest shade is on the end of the eyelid and the lightest shade, sometimes with glitter and highlight, will be all over the eyelid.
• Glitter or highlighter will be applied to the centre of the eyelid.
• The outer corner of the bottom eyelid will be a brown, or dark color, to give an affect that the eyes are much bigger and cuter.
• Aegyo sal, the lower eyelid is highlighted to makes it look bigger. Give a cute, soft look.

Eyeliner:
• Sometimes using a a brown eyeliner ,or just a very dark eyeshadow.
• Draw a a subtle eyeliner that is draw downwards to create the puppy dog eye.

Eyes:
•Koreans love using lenses to create more bigger eyes.

Lips:
• Usually using liptints that they would apply to to the centre of the lips and then blended out.
• Centre of the lips being dark and the spreading out lighter throughout the whole lips.

American makeup/beauty

Base:
• Full coverage foundation
• Contour/Bronze cheek bones, around the forehead, the nose, and the jawline
• Blush for only the apples of the cheeks
• Highlighting is usually pigmented and giving blinding effect, on the cheeks and the nose, sometimes the top lip and the corner of the eyes.

Eyebrows:
• Arched bold eyebrows

Lashes:
• Fluffy full lashes

Eyeshadow:
• Eyeshadow is pigmented and colours are either bold or neutral.
• Darker shades go into the crease, to create more depth to the crease and go lighter on the eyelids.
• Lighter shades on eyelids and sometimes adding a glitter or highlight to them.
• Dark/medium shade , sometimes same as the crease, is added to the bottom of the waterline.
• Sometimes adding white to the waterline.

Eyeliner:
• Dark black eyeliner
• Eyeliner is thick and bold
• Eyeliner is shaped as a cat eye

Lips:
• Outlining the lips
• Filling the lips with a bold colour that's usually matte
• Sometimes adding a highlight to the centre of the lips
