Welcome to your Bespoke Skin Journey, with me Anchen van Dyk, your Advanced Dermal Aesthetician. I am a qualified Somatologist that furthered my studies towards a degree in Advanced Dermal Aesthetics. During my final study year, I worked in a skin care unit, did student mentoring and part-time lecturing. In 2018 I was employed in a medical aesthetics setting until 2020 when I launched Bespoke Skin and Body. Having my own business and offering each client a bespoke skin journey tailored to their individual needs has been my biggest dream since entering the industry. I feel that when working in a big, busy setting clients and their individual needs fall through the cracks. Every client has their own needs and concerns and only by listening attentively and obtaining a complete medical, general and skin history you are able to plan a prospective treatment program that plays a vital role in addressing these needs and attaining the best results. My approach to skincare is very strict and I abide by a few non-negotiables to ensure the safety of my business, your safety and the results you are expecting to achieve. Your face and skin is your ultimate identity and we need to give it the respect it deserves. I have a life-long learning attitude and in saying that, I can assure you that at Bespoke Skin and Body you will always get the latest skin solutions and be updated with the newest technology and ingredients findings. Acne isn’t just a clogged pore.

But acne biology is far more complex than that.
