Did you know….
An oyster that has not been wounded in any way does not produce pearls?
A pearl is a healed wound.

Pearls are a product of pain, the result of a foreign or unwanted substance entering the oyster, such as a parasite or a grain of sand.

The inside of an oyster shell is a shiny substance called “nacre.”

When a grain of sand enters, the nacre cells go to work and cover the grain of sand with layers and more layers to protect the defenseless body from the oyster. As a result, a beautiful pearl is formed!

The more pearls, the more valuable…

God never allows pain without a purpose.

What if your greatest ministry to others comes out of your greatest hurt or deepest wounds?

The hard things we may be going through now are really nothing in comparison to the glory that will be revealed in us later. (Romans 8:17-18)

Society has set certain standards of beauty that are followed by most of the population.These standards are also responsible for creating a sort of frustration/personality complex among the people that fail to meet these standards. This is why inner beauty is important. But what is inner beauty, to be exact?

Inner beauty is the real beauty of a person that goes far beyond just physical appearances. Inner beauty might not be seen with the naked eye, but it goes beyond what you can see and touch.

Inner beauty isn’t just inner beauty. As you dwell on the idea for a while, you’ll realize that it’s the only beauty there is. This isn’t to imply that outer beauty doesn’t matter. However, when comparing the two, inner beauty gives more significance than you think. The premise of inner beauty focuses on everything within you – heart, mind, and soul.

You’re confident because of how you present yourself to the world and how you maintain your authenticity. A lot of people assume that confidence has everything to do with your physical appearance, but that’s not true. First impressions don’t always depend on your physique, but you need to believe that from within yourself. And that’s where your true beauty lies. More than what you look like, your true worth lies within.

Inner beauty is what represents the kindness of your heart or the purity of your soul. This is why inner beauty can never compare to any other beauty. And at the end of the day, call it what you want, inner beauty or outer, there’s just one kind. And it’s the kind of beauty you see when YOU see yourself in the mirror.
