There comes a moment — sometimes quietly, sometimes after years of noise — when you just get tired of fighting yourself. I remember reaching that point, when the constant self-criticism, the comparing, the “not enough” thoughts finally felt heavier than the work it took to let them go.

That’s when I began learning how to be on my own side. To speak kindly to myself. To celebrate small wins. To forgive the messy moments. It wasn’t instant peace — it was a slow unfolding. But somewhere along the way, I stopped tearing myself down and started building myself up.

Now, I’m learning that peace isn’t something you chase. It’s something you create — one gentle thought, one kind word, one choice at a time. And maybe that’s what growth really is… learning to live gently with yourself, until peace isn’t something you search for — it’s simply where you rest. 🩷
