As promised here is the peactical demo i did in class today.
Before the students work on their first client, they did Bead practice on a silicone chart. This gave them the confidence to pick up the correct mix ration bead for their practical.
Acrylic is extremely sensitive to temperature and weather conditions. Today was very wet and cold in Cape Town and to prevent the acrylic setting too slowly, we work on a warm “beany bag” that we heat in the microwave. This has 2 advantages, 1. It heats the clients hands and 2. It creates heat around the work space aiding setting time if the acrylic.

Find the application method that fits the brand of you use. I have found my ajd it was 23 yrs ago. Yes this is how long I have been using the same brand. It is Ultra Adhesion Acrylic from Nailsforu.
