The Power of Consistency - Lesson From The Two Ladders.
As we go through life, we encounter many challenges and obstacles that require us to push ourselves beyond our limits. It's during these moments that we must remember the importance of consistency.
Imagine two ladders in front of you - the Inconsistent Ladder and the Consistent Ladder. On the Inconsistent Ladder, you see someone attempting to climb, but there are large gaps between each step, marked at the end with numbers 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, and 300. The person on this ladder is struggling to make progress and hasn't even reached the halfway point.
On the other side, you see the Consistent Ladder. This ladder has consistent markings at every step, all marked at 10 from the first step to the last. You see someone climbing this ladder steadily, without any struggle or setbacks, all the way to the top.
The difference between the two ladders is consistency. The person on the Inconsistent Ladder might be taking larger steps, but they are not able to sustain that pace and eventually become stuck. Meanwhile, the person on the Consistency Ladder might be taking smaller steps, but they are able to maintain that pace and reach their goal.
