There are so many “World____Days” but this one is well worthy.
World Bee Day is definitely a day to bring awareness to. For one, without bees we would not have any fresh food- period.
And secondly honey especially Kogelberg fynbos honey has immaculate health benefi internally amd externally. The skin healing properties of fynbos honey supersede those of famous Manuka. We are abundantly privileged to own a small piece of the Heart of the Fynbos Kingdom where these ladies merrily make their honey and beeswax from unadulterated fynbos vegetation. A tiny piece of heaven at the tip of Africa. ❤

In the realm of skincare culture, it's astonishing how little reverence we show for the ingredients in our everyday products. There are lengthy lists of ingredients, each screaming in anonymity. This disconnect isn't limited to just skincare; it permeates our grocery aisles as well. How often do we pause to ask, "Was this grown in healthy soil? What was the farmer's mood that day? Did we disrupt an entire ecosystem just to mass-produce a single crop for use as a mere filler in a cosmetic product?" If the
products we create fail to contribute to the betterment of our planet and the
livelihoods of our farmers, then we must ask ourselves: Why are we using them at
all?
Every component we incorporate into our products isn't just essential; it's sacred. We believe that the creation of our exceptional products is, in part, attributed to the environments from which these ingredients are born!

Why do I always have to Guasha my neck? And why do I need to drink WARM water afterwards?
Take a look at image #2
It is because Guasha de-puffs, sculpts and detoxes the face by draining the excess fluid and toxins into the lymphatic system.

Lymph is the fluid found in between the cells that flows through the lymphatic system. It contains white blood cells which play a major role in our immunity due to its ability to destroy foreign substances like bacteria and eat up the debris (or toxins) from dead cells. This is what detoxing is! Cleaning out all the microscopic garbage.

As you can see, a lot of the lymph nodes and vessels are around the ear, jaw, neck and collarbone, therefore always drag your Guasha stone down the neck. If you don’t drag it down the neck, all that fluid doesn’t get picked up as easily, leaving you feeling congested and sluggish.

In order to make sure all this microscopic garbage leaves our system, it is VERY important to flush it all out with warm water. Warm water, especially if you add some lemon to it, helps your body clean out this debris.

So remember, no matter what technique you use, make sure to always drag it down the neck to the collarbone, and always drink warm water afterwards to help flush it out!
