We are so proud of Dr Dale, who spent the last week in London where he was invited to train with interventional radiologist, Dr Gibran Timothy Yusuf at the Princess Royal Hospital, London.

Dr Dale has been tasked with creating a Centre of Excellence for thyroid ablation in South Africa, where he will be training other interventional radiologists how to perform procedures using the Terumo TATO machine. It will be the first time that microwave ablation will be used in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules in South Africa, in collaboration with endocrine surgery at the University of Cape Town.
