✨ Big life update, fam! ✨

As many of you know, we’re moving to Grabouw! 💛 I had planned to work part-time and still drive to Brackenfell some days, but life had other plans… my amazing nanny fell ill, and suddenly I realized I wouldn’t have the support I need in our new home.

After a lot of thought and mixed emotions, I’ve made the bittersweet—but exciting—decision to step away from my lash business and focus on being a full-time, present mom, while also growing my online venture and maybe doing some lashes on the other side who knows 🥰

I can’t thank you enough for the love, support, and trust over the past 12 years. You’ve been part of my dream and my family’s journey, and I will always be grateful for each one of you. 💖

I’m finishing up all appointments in November, and from December onwards, I’ll be officially closing this chapter. If you’re looking for lash magic, I highly recommend you’re in incredible hands! 💫

But don’t stress — I’ll still be lashing in Brackenfell, just from a new location inside I’ll have my own private space, and I’ll still be offering the same quality service you’re used to. 💫

I want to share an experience I had recently that left me feeling unsettled and reflective

A new client reached out. I was fully booked, but I made a plan — moved things around and even offered to see her slightly later than usual for future bookings. I really tried to accommodate her.

From the moment she arrived, her energy felt distant and cold. But I gave her a chance — I always try.

As we chatted, she told me her previous lash tech had done her lashes for 9 years — and had suddenly stopped working, because she was in hospital, fighting for her life.

No warmth. No compassion. Just inconvenience.

That comment sat heavy with me. It stayed with me long after she left.

She later cancelled her future bookings without a word. And that, honestly, was confirmation:
This is not my client. She is not for me.

✨ You will never have to hold space for what’s not meant for you.
✨ The right clients don’t just respect your work — they respect your energy.

To the lash artist who touched lives in her time —
