The Hippy Hip-Stars is a belly dance fusion studio, incorporating African rhythms, reggae and even electronic music. We move away from the bling and shiny-ness of the world and embrace Earthy-colourfulness and a whole lot of good old fun! The sole focus of our dancing is to express ourselves creatively with a sense of release... regaining a connection with who we are as individuals, and by doing so, gaining absolute freedom of self. Individuals from all walks of life learn to stand together like a pack of wolves, while we shape up, strengthen our bodies and learn to appreciate true flawed, human, beauty. Not only do we place a great emphasis in learning our dance steps with absolute technical precision, but we also focus on the individual's needs by "finding what feels good" for the body. You will be trained with great love and patience, with ample performance opportunities to share your expressions with others. Thank you for a lovely class ladies! You are so inspiring! I just love our group. We really are all ages and body types, and we have such different personalities, but somehow we just have awesome group dynamic! Love it!
