My slogan is "natural is beautiful" as I believe that beauty starts on the inside. However, what you put on your skin is just as important, as the skin is the body's largest organ and it only takes 26 seconds for chemicals to be absorbed through it into the bloodstream. Therefore, all products that you put on your skin should be as natural as possible and ideally safe enough to eat. I developed the Heart Tree range after suffering first-hand from serious skin issues whilst teaching English in Seoul, South Korea, for 2 years. Looking back, I can definitely attribute my adult acne to diet, environmental toxins (air and water) and the cosmetic products I was using. Since returning to Cape Town, I have pursued my dream of creating a completely natural range that works as well as, if not better than, conventional products. All products in the Heart Tree range are hand made in small batches. The entire range uses only the most natural and the highest quality organic essential oils and wild-harvested or organically-grown carrier oils. All ingredients are extensively researched and all products are carefully formulated by myself for specific needs. Happy Saturday my darling Heart Trees!! It's so important to make time to care for ourselves and what better way than by caring for your body with daily movement, fresh air and sunshine; AND by caring for your face with nourishing and skin-loving ingredients.
~
I started the range back in 2016 to help me make time for self-care, while also helping to heal my skin after my cystic acne experience. In 2020, during lockdown, I developed my Pregnancy-Safe range due to a demand for essential-oil free versions of my products and knowing at least 10 people who were pregnant at the time (it was a sign💫).
~
I also started collaborating with some amazing brands to create some customised oils as well as working with to develop a range of scented soy candles. I must also extend a big thank you to and for your beautiful product reviews. I'm so grateful to Heart Tree for creating these opportunities!!🙏🏻
