Two photos, 10 years apart! Welcome Josh - our latest addition to the Blokes team.

Josh is new to the team but definitely isn’t new to our family, from the age of 7 Josh has been a Bloke - his father owned the tattoo parlour upstairs from our original premises at The Foundry. 10 years down the line we received a motivational letter for Josh’s entry to college to study hairstyling - all we can say is that “Brian” and “Blokes” were the stand out reasons Josh wanted to join the industry. So naturally, we’ve taken him under our wing and over the coming years will train him into the master barber he has the potential to be.

Next time you’re in the shop he’ll be greeting you and making you feel at home. We can’t wait for this journey to continue.

You may have noticed we have had a new face in the shop for the last few months! Juan joined the team toward the end of 2024 and has become a part of our family straight away. With almost 10 years of experience barbering across South Africa, his fades are unrivalled, his banter is top notch and his energy is magnetic. We are so grateful and fortunate to have such a friendly face in the team and we can’t wait for you to get to know him better too ❤️

A Queen with a dream started Blokes Hair. Boy it’s been a journey, from small beginnings this shop has been on an incredible journey and survived against the greatest odds. A double hip replacement, a new location, a whole pandemic and here we are today! Alive to tell the tale and better off for it too 🫶 we’ve built an amazing family over these past 12 years, a strong, supportive and loyal following that has stood the test of time and for that we are so grateful!
