Below you will find step by step how to grow off your gel to minimize damage. During this time, nail technicians can’t help but we still want the best for our clients.
Picture 1: nail growth of 4 weeks no lifting or chipping.
Picture 2: using a file and a buffer, shorten and shape nails as desired and buff the back to blend the growth. ( I would suggest going short as your gel strength is compromised). You can also push back cuticles.
Picture 3: Paint your nails with your choice of nail polish and let dry ( I will suggest you pick a color similar or darker to your gel color you currently have on)
Add top coat and you are done😊.
