Scenario: stroke( 9,5 scale), survivor
completely paralised
Lives in a hospital bed
Very thick nail plates
Persistent ingrown nails
One nail very infected
Lack of movement and circulation resulting in very thick nail plates, ingrown severely and poor coloration, one becoming severely infected.
Dignity first, hence no photos, but the ongoing treatments have resulted in healthy nail plates, pink nail beds, including all the dry skin surrounding the areas removed and ingrowns under full control with zero infection.
Massage to restore drainage and circulation.
It is so satisfying watching results become permanent, now we manage them!
This is more expensive because, I travel and it involves me working in contorted positions as the bed is awkward and the legs are completely paralised, but I highly recommend keeping footcare going especially when natural circulation is no longer occurring.

Plantar skin atrophy, with localized Hyperkeratosis in weight bearing areas,causing two types of pain and discomfort!some areas had blood dots upon arrival. Extra skin very carefully removed.
