Fragrance in skincare? Let’s talk about it.

One of the questions we’re asked is whether Lanolab has a scent - and the answer is yes, but it doesn’t come from any added fragrance.

Fragrance, whether natural or synthetic, can be a potential skin irritant, particularly for people struggling with irritated skin or a damaged barrier. So from the very beginning, we made the intentional decision not to add fragrance to any of our formulations.

What you smell is simply the natural scent of the ingredients themselves.

Our products are also dermatologically tested and our endorsed by the Allergy Foundation of South Africa (AFSA).

We have always been intentional about what goes into our formulations - and what doesn’t. No added fragrance. No unnecessary extras. Just carefully formulated skincare.
