Through our work in South African schools with hundreds of teenage girls, we’ve had the joy and privilege of meeting some 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻.

Despite the fast rate of change and uncertainty in today’s world, these girls know that they have a bright future and are 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 with their lives.

🌱 Sometimes it’s the slow work of rebuilding and recreating something that is broken or destroyed.
🌱 Sometimes it’s trusting in yourself after a disappointment or speaking to yourself with a little more kindness.�
🌱 Sometimes it’s showing up when you’d rather just hide away or trusting your own voice a little more than your fears.�And sometimes it’s just keeping a promise to yourself to just get up out of bed and simply ‘try again’.

There yes there are days when you leap forward:
You hand in the resignation.�
You start the course.�
You have the difficult conversation.�You put your name forward.�
You finally say yes - or no.

Those moments are visible and they make for good stories.
