As Breast Cancer Awareness month comes to an end, it is important to remember to continue your regular self-checks and screening as it is vital for early detection.

Recovery following surgery can be daunting.

Through my own journey, I began meeting many others who had undergone breast cancer surgery and were experiencing significant pain and a condition known as Axillary Web Syndrome (AWS) or commonly referred to as cording.

Over the years I have developed my approach to successfully treat coding.

Finding Purpose Through Healing: My Journey with Breast Cancer and Helping Others Recover.

Seventeen years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy. At that point in my career, I had little experience working with cancer patients.

My personal experience changed everything. As I went through recovery, I began meeting many women who had undergone breast cancer surgery — and I quickly realised how many were living with ongoing pain and movement restrictions that were rarely being addressed.
