AFRIDERM x ZOE MODIGA ‘THE VAULT’ ALBUM LAUNCH COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
1.1 This promotional competition is organised by Afriderm (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
1.2 The competition is open to permanent residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter: employees, directors, agents, consultants, contractors, advertising or promotional agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, and/or associated companies of the Promoter, as well as their immediate family members.
1.3 By entering this competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. The Promoter’s decision on any dispute arising from this competition will be final and binding.
2. Duration and Entry Requirements
2.1 The competition opens on 21 April 2026 and closes at 23:59 PM SAST on 21 April 2026. Entries received after this closing time will not be considered.
2.2 To enter, participants must:
• Follow Afriderm’s official social media page;
• Tag one (1) friend in the comments of the designated competition post; and
• Confirm (by entering) that both the participant and their tagged friend are available to attend the event on 23 April 2026 and are able to arrange their own transport to and from the event venue.
2.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. The social media account used to enter must belong to a permanent South African resident. Entries submitted by agents, third parties, organised groups, or automatically generated by computer software will not be accepted. Incomplete, illegible, or corrupted entries will be disqualified.
2.4 By entering, participants confirm that they are 18 years of age or older. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and/or identity from any entrant or winner at any stage. Failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification or forfeiture of the prize.
3. The Prize
3.1 There will be five (5) winners. Each winner will receive:
• Two (2) tickets to attend Zoe Modiga’s ‘The Vault’ Album Launch Party on 23 April 2026 at The Market Theatre, 138 Lillian Ngoyi Street, Newtown, Johannesburg, 2001, South Africa;
• An Afriderm branded goodie bag; and
• An exclusive meet-and-greet opportunity with Zoe Modiga (subject to her availability and the Promoter’s confirmation — see clause 3.6).
3.2 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other substitute.
3.3 Each winner’s two (2) tickets are allocated to the winner and the specific friend tagged in their winning entry. The guest may not be substituted for another person after the winner has been confirmed, except at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
3.4 Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries and will be announced on Afriderm’s official social media platforms on or before 22 April 2026.
3.5 Winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform through which they entered. If a winner does not respond within 24 hours of notification, or within the timeframe specified in the direct message (whichever is shorter), Afriderm reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative.
3.6 The meet-and-greet with Zoe Modiga is subject to her availability and may be subject to change or cancellation without notice. In such an event, no replacement prize will be offered in lieu of the meet-and-greet.
3.7 A list of winners will be made available on request by contacting Afriderm via its official social media platforms.
4. Event Conditions
4.1 Winners are responsible for arranging and covering all costs related to their own transport to and from The Market Theatre. Afriderm accepts no responsibility for transport, accommodation, or any other ancillary costs incurred by winners or their guests.
4.2 Winners and their guests may be required to present valid South African photo identification (ID book, smart ID card, or passport) at the door to claim their tickets. Failure to produce satisfactory identification may result in denial of entry.
4.3 Tickets are issued subject to the venue’s standard terms and conditions of entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any winner or guest who fails to comply with venue rules, acts in a disorderly manner, or is found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
4.4 The event may involve the presence and consumption of alcohol. Winners and their guests confirm that they are of legal drinking age (18 years or older) and that any consumption of alcohol is entirely at their own risk and responsibility. The Promoter accepts no liability in this regard.
4.5 In the event that the album launch is postponed, cancelled, or materially altered for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize without offering a substitute or compensation.
5. Media and Publicity
5.1 By entering this competition, participants consent to Afriderm capturing and using photography, video, and audio content featuring them at the event for marketing and promotional purposes, including on Afriderm’s digital platforms and social media channels, without further notice or compensation.
5.2 Winners may be required to participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as social media posts or photographs) as a condition of receiving their prize. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize.
6. Data Privacy (POPIA)
6.1 By entering this competition, participants consent to the Promoter collecting, processing, and storing their personal information solely for the purposes of administering this competition, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
6.2 Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where required for prize fulfilment or as required by law.
6.3 Participants may request access to or deletion of their personal information by contacting Afriderm via its official social media platforms.
7. Liability and General
7.1 Afriderm reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this competition at any time and without prior notice, including where circumstances arise beyond its reasonable control.
7.2 The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by participants or winners in connection with this competition or the prize, to the extent permitted by South African law.
7.3 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok, or any other social media platform. Any queries or complaints relating to this competition must be directed to Afriderm and not to the respective platform.
7.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
