You may think your lash artists cleans them at your appointment, but here’s the truth 👇 When a client fails to clean their lash extensions between appointments it can result in build up that is too stubborn for a single or double cleanse to fully remove. 🦠 If this buildup is not fully removed before application of lash extensions, the lash extensions are unable to bond to the natural lash, instead bonding directly to that buildup. This means the next time these lash extensions are gently touched or get wet, this buildup will likely not be able to support the weight of the lash extensions, resulting in bad retention. 😳 Once this buildup begins, the only real solution is a full removal of the lash extensions to allow the lash artist to properly cleanse the bases of the natural lashes without the extensions obstructing their access. 🥲 If you aren’t cleansing your lashes regularly, this is your sign to start. 🧼
