The U‑MASK team was honoured to be invited to the annual ArcelorMittal South Africa Safety Day at Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging. In addition, our USP Running Club proudly participated in the race and secured 3rd place.

At Implats – Bafokeng and Impala Sections, the U‑MASK™ team had the opportunity to visit the training facilities to engage with workers on the importance of respiratory safety and the daily wearing of their masks as part of essential PPE.

These engagements play a vital role in reinforcing safe habits and awareness at every stage of the work environment.

At Valterra Platinum – Amandelbult Section, the U‑MASK™ team was introduced to assist with induction training sessions, ensuring employees are aware from day one of the importance of respiratory protection—and reminded again when returning from leave.

Through multiple sessions this week, we’ve helped lay a strong foundation for many more engagements to come, reinforcing consistent PPE use as part of everyday safe work practices.
