Hey, I'm Chiquita known as kita — the face behind Colour Me Chiq.

I've been in the hair industry for 13 years, and what started as a passion has grown into something so much bigger than hair.

My specialties are balayage, colour corrections, and creating beautiful, lived-in colour while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. Hair health is at the heart of everything I do because I believe beautiful hair should also be healthy hair.

But if you've ever sat in my chair, you'll know that an appointment with me is about so much more than hair.

I want every client to leave feeling lighter than when they arrived. Sometimes that means creating a stunning transformation, and sometimes it means spending a few hours laughing until your stomach hurts. Life can be heavy, and I love creating a space where we can laugh about our problems instead of cry about them.

My goal is to build genuine relationships with my clients. I want you to feel like you've found someone in your corner. The kind of relationship where you leave thinking, "I can't wait to tell my hairdresser!" when something exciting happens.

Of course, making you look and feel beautiful is part of the job—but creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, and valued is just as important to me.
