So, for those not in the know, about 3 months ago I lost a very special friend, Maree, in a car accident. She was a beacon of inspiration for our Roller Derby team and her sudden departure left us all at a loss for words. Sadder still is the fact that she has left behind her 5 year old son. Maree was the sole provider. Durban Derby is starting a trust fund in Maree's honour to ensure that her little son Riley's school needs are taken care of. We have started a raffle consisting of a FULL makeover (hair sponsored by Loreal, Makeup by Miss V) as well as a professional photo shoot for before and after pictures. We're asking for R10 a ticket. If you can find it in your big fuzzy heart to purchase a ticket, please do. I can put you in touch with the girls from Durban Derby and you can do a direct EFT.
