colour correction is the technical process of analysing and correcting unwanted colour it involves a detailed consultation, strand testing, and a customised formulation using techniques such as colour removal, pigment neutralisation, filling, pre-pigmentation, toning, lightening, and colour balancing. The goal is not simply to “change the colour”, but to correct unevenness, banding, unwanted tones, previous colour build-up, and compromised colour history while maintaining the integrity of the hair
