I’ve seen the question “The shampoo isn’t working” come up, so I’d like to address this. ❤️

Most people unknowingly overcomplicate lice treatment because we’ve been programmed to think the only goal is to “kill the lice.” But the truth is, the most effective part of lice treatment is the person doing the treatment. 🪮

When you use the products correctly and follow the treatment process, it becomes so much easier to remove the lice and nits effectively.

Sometimes, especially when there is re-infestation at home or at school, it can feel like the treatment “isn’t working” when, in reality, the lice are simply being brought back again.

I recommend washing or cleaning:
🛏️ Bedding
🧢 Hats and caps
🪮 Brushes and combs

And please ask yourself:

❓ How often are you using your maintenance products?

🧴 Shampoo + Conditioner + Spray?

They work best together as part of your treatment routine:

🧴 The Shampoo – helps kill the live lice.

🧴 The Conditioner – helps loosen the nits, making them easier to slide off the hair.

🌸 The Spray – helps with maintenance and helps prevent re-infestation.

That’s why the instructions say not to mix them with other shampoos, conditioners, or other lice treatments. Mixing products can interfere with how they are designed to work together.

❌ Normal conditioner can coat the hair and interfere with the anti-lice ingredients, and it can also make the nits more difficult to remove.

When you’re not using your products, store the bottles upside down.

The ingredients can settle at the bottom if the products have been sitting for a while. Shaking the bottles properly helps make sure the ingredients are mixed evenly and that your products work as they are intended to.

Let's break down the numbers. For a 500ml shampoo, I'm at R120, whereas Control Lice is R1,666.66 for 500ml, and Paranex is R1,150 for 500ml. My 250ml detangler spray is R100. When you compare apples to apples, my prices are competitive. If you're paying R3,333 for a 1L commercial shampoo, that's just not the same as my R220/L. Let's focus on the value, not just the price.
