STOP KILLING YOUR HERBS ✂️

One wrong cut = stunted growth or a dead plant.

Here's how to cut right for bigger, bushier harvests:

🌿 Basil — Pinch above a node (not too low). New shoots grow faster.

🌿 Cilantro — Cut outer stems low. Center keeps producing.

🌿 Rosemary — Cut green growth only. Never cut woody stems.

🌿 Mint — Cut back often and low. Keeps it bushy.

🌿 Thyme — Snip green tips only. Light frequent trims.

🌿 Parsley — Cut outer stems at base. Center keeps producing.

Not All Lavender Is Edible 🌿

Think all lavender tastes the same? 🛑 Wrong.

Garden labels can be confusing — but using the wrong one in your food can ruin a recipe (or worse).

English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) = ✅ Sweet floral flavor, low camphor. Perfect for cookies, tea, lemonade, honey & sugar. Varieties: Hidcote, Munstead, Melissa, Royal Velvet.

Spanish Lavender = ❌ Rabbit ear petals, pinecone heads, stronger resinous aroma. Not for cooking.

Lavandin = ❌ Long loose spikes, tall stems. Too camphorous — not preferred for cooking.
