Aqua Wise
A unique water backup system, deigned for zero interruptions like water cuts and low water pressure. Tired of not enough water pressure?
Turn on more than 2 taps and there’s hardly any flow? No water in the taps when you wake up? Want to bath the kids or shower in the evening and no water? As we are experiencing the worst drought ever municipalities have had to implement various water saving techniques. They are installing water restrictors at all the houses which reduces both the flow and pressure you once enjoyed. When you have a shower the water pressure is low and hardly any water comes out and this is worse when another tap is opened at the same time then there is hardly any water. As the drought is continuing more drastic measures are going to have to be implemented where municipalities are going to do load shedding / water cuts the same way electricity was cut off when there was a shortage of electricity. The initial phase will entail the cutting off of water for up to 9 hours at a time at least twice a week. We supply and install an 800 litre tank (or larger if required) with the automated pump and controls built into the tank and the required fittings. The system is installed in such a manner that it picks up a loss in pressure or flow and then the pump automatically switches on restoring the flow and pressure to that which everyone is accustomed to. An 800 litre backup storage tank gives approximately one and half (1.5) to two (2) days storage for an average household of four (4) people. This is important as you want the treated water, from the municipality, to circulate adequately through the tank ensuring the water remains safe for human consumption. This means no need for filtering or treating the water as the water is that which is supplied by the municipality, which has been treated already. The system is installed in line, plug and play, so that should you wish to revert back to only the water supplied by the municipality, you just switch the system off at the plug socket and close the two (2) valves either side of the tank. This means having the pump and controls built into the tank there is limited noise level from the pump as it is in the tank and aesthetically the whole system looks better than having a pump on the outside of the tank which is open to little hands and the elements.
