Brides who want beautiful lashes on their big day, but are worried about reactions to lash glue - this is the brand for you. Medically tested, and with several options on glues, this is the only brand I've tried (and trust me, I've had lash extensions many places, some good, some bad and some downright ugly) that doesn't irritate my eyes.

A lovely, everyday foundation for those looking for some extra glow in their lives!

I was lucky enough to be sent the beautiful, brand-spanking-new Laboratoires Filorga Flash-N**e Fluid anti-ageing foundation recently, & I spent a number of days testing it out - did you know the range is Filorga's first makeup range??

The Flash-N**e Pro-Perfection Tinted Fluid can be applied with a light hand for sheer coverage, & a heavier hand if you're after a little more colour. It also contains their patented NCEF polyrevitalising formula with 50 active skincare ingredients to improve skin quality & radiance, Hexylresorcinol (a botanical active known for it's antioxidant & brightening properties) & an SPF 30.

I have oily/combo skin, so I was concerned at using an anti-ageing foundation. My first attempt was with no primer - big mistake. This is definitely a glowier foundation, & by lunchtime you probably could have seen me from the moon & not in a good way. I then used the foundation every day for the next week, using a range of different primers - NIVEA Sensitive After Shave Balm (still too oily), Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional (much much better, but still a little oily by the end of the day), Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch (smooth but not mattifying enough at all) Smashbox - South Africa Pore Minimising Primer (BINGO - perfection).

While I enjoyed using the Flash-N**e Fluid with my Smashbox primer, I still felt I had to set it with powder each time I used it. I've been trying to do this less, as I've found that's helped my skin's hydration oils so much. I'd definitely recommend this to any with drier skin types, or those with more mature skin - the extra radiance & nourishment will really come into their own then. I think the Flash-N**e Powder would be more suitable to oily/combo skin types, or those ranging from mid 20s to late 30s.

You'll be able to find the Flash-N**e range in selected Edgars & Red Square Beauty stores from October 2018. The Fluid comes in 2 shades - N**e Beige & N**e Gold, while the powder comes in Translucent. Both the Fluid & Powder will retail for R520.
