I have a confession to make:
These are my first knotless braids EVER 😍

To be honest, I love braids, but I avoid them because after a week, I want to get rid of them.

Actually, it's the same for every hairstyle I get, which is why my hair is always in Bantu knots or twists. I keep it low maintenance and simple.

But last week, I took the plunge and got knotless braids for the first time, and I was really impressed.

Because knotless braids are, well, knotless, there is less tension on the scalp, and the absence of knots create a natural-looking finish that makes the hairstyle appear more seamless. Also, they can be styled immediately because that "first day braid tightness" is old news when it comes to knotless braids. I'm enjoying them so much that I've decided to leave them on for another week. Do I recommend them? Absolutely!
