Jiang Huang (姜黄)

In Chinese culture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), turmeric is known as Jiang Huang (姜黄) and has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties.

It's incorporated into herbal formulas to improve blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain—particularly for joint issues and menstrual discomfort.

Turmeric is also used in external poultices, often combined with acupuncture, to treat swelling and promote healing. In moxibustion, it’s sometimes blended with mugwort to enhance energy flow. Modern TCM clinics may also use turmeric supplements as part of integrative cancer support and digestive therapies, reflecting its growing role in both traditional and contemporary wellness practices.

2025 : A Zen Era.

In Japanese, "Zen" (禅) refers to a school of Buddhism that emphasizes meditation as the primary path to enlightenment. It's derived from the Middle Chinese word "Chán" (禪), which itself comes from the Sanskrit word "dhyāna" (ध्यान), meaning meditation or contemplation. In essence, Zen in Japanese signifies a state of focused attention, quietude, and the direct experience of reality through meditation.
