We live in a world so obsessed with perfection that we are afraid to talk about important things that actually matter, like Cancer. The shame that comes with this condition is actually upsetting.
Listening to the panel today, their individual stories and experiences was both saddening and empowering.
Today, I urge every single one of you to not only start talking about Cancer, but to also go for your checkups. Take your best friend, your husband, your daughter. Whomsoever you can take with you.
