La essence Foot Spa

For Lulu, Miss Luu

This morning we said goodbye to a light that made every room warmer.
We fondly knew her as Lulu. Miss Luu.

Luu was boisterous, friendly, and full of life. She walked into a space and you knew she was there — not because she was loud, but because her joy was. She carried herself with so much class, grace, and dignity. A beautiful lady, inside and out.

For a few hours each week, she worked at my spa. But in that time she gave us so much more than help. She gave friendship. She gave laughter. She gave the kind of advice that stays with you long after the conversation ends — wise, honest, and always given with love. She was supportive in the quiet ways and the big ways. She showed up for me.

Lulu had no children, no family by blood.
Yet she was family to us.
She chose us, and we chose her back. And that made her one of the most precious people in our lives.

We are going to miss her.
We’re going to miss her loud personality, her stories, her hugs, her no-nonsense wisdom, and the way she made ordinary days feel special.

Luu, thank you for being our friend.
Thank you for the love you poured into our little spa family.
Thank you for teaching us that family isn’t always about blood — sometimes it’s about who sits with you, who advises you, who makes you laugh until your shoulders hurt.

We love you so much, Luu.
Rest in peace, beautiful soul.
We’ll carry you with us in every cup of coffee, every laugh, and every bit of class we try to show the world.

Until we meet again my beautiful Lu💜
