Join the Gauteng Province as we commemorate World AIDS Day — a day to raise awareness, stand in unwavering support of people living with HIV, and honour the lives and activists we’ve lost along the way. Together, we remember, we support, and we commit to ending HIV for good.
Our Community Engagement and Social Mobilisation Manager, Hlengiwe Mazibuko is unpacking the conversation of Safe S*x with Malebeko Sadiki .
Hlengiwe highlighted the importance of safe s*x in response to reducing the HIV infections in the country especially within the Adolescent and Young People.
She expressed the importance of parents have the safe s*x and abstaining conversations with their children at home and she alluded that this conversations need to be raw. She touched brief on the S*xual Reproductive Health and Rights and why it is important for people to know their rights and ask relevant questions to the health professionals when accessing health facilities.
Hlengiwe shared her personal story that made her to become a safe s*x Advocate, just stay tuned with us to find out more about her personal experience.
