Kuhle Nails and Beauty

Happy Self-Care Sunday

Scripture in Mark 6:31says "And He said to them, 'Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a little while.' (For there were many people coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.)"

Sometimes we think resting means doing nothing, but rest can also mean choosing a moment that fills you again. Jesus recongnised His disciples were overwhelmed and in that space there were, they did not have the chance to fill up their bodies.

They had to step away from the business and be intentional to refesh abd refill.

A little quiet. A little pampering. A fresh set of nails. A pedicure. Lashes. A facial. A massage. Something that makes you feel like you again.

Life is busy, and there will always be something that needs your attention. But today, give yourself permission to slow down for a moment.

You don’t have to wait until you are completely exhausted before you take care of yourself.

Come sit with us today or plan that day in the coming week. Where you get to relax, reset and let us take care of you for a little while.

Feel Beautiful Every Day.

Mark 4:9 says Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.

We believe here Jesus is calling us to pay deep attention to the Word. It is very possible to hear the Word with our ears but still miss what God is saying to our hearts.

Real hearing is when we stop, understand, reflect, and then allow the truth of God’s Word to change the way we live.

So when we read Scripture, the question we ask ourselves should not only be, What does this verse say? but also asking the Lord, what are You showing me here? What needs to change in me? What do I need to obey? How should I live differently because of what I have heard?

That is the kind of hearing Jesus is calling us to, not just receiving information, but receiving truth that produces fruit in our lives.

Pray with us this morning...
Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word thats a light on to my path always, please give me ears that truly hear You. Help me not to rush through Your Word or only listen when it is convenient. Give me understanding, conviction and the courage to apply what You teach me. Let Your Word produce real change and good fruit in my life. Amen.
