After 15 wonderful years, I’ll be closing Nourish Natural Soaps at the end of February.
It has been such a privilege to create these soaps and to have your support over the years. This little business has been my complete passion and enjoyment and I have met so many wonderful people along the way. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.

It’s been a wonderfully busy few weeks, and we’re now finishing up the last of our soap orders. Nourish Natural Soaps will be taking a little break from the end of this week, and I’ll reopen again on 1 February. I’m so looking forward to a well-earned rest!😃

Lately my brain has been buzzing with all the techy things I’m learning — websites, systems, settings… the works! So in the evenings, I’ve been balancing it out with something beautifully simple: knitting a big, soft triangle scarf with the chunkiest, most delicious wool. 🧶💗
There’s something so soothing about the rhythm of the stitches — it’s like my brain finally exhales. It’s amazing how a bit of slow, tactile creativity can bring everything back into balance again. Just loving the headspace it creates!

I am slowly starting to ease into the busy time of the year. Back to daily soap making! While working on my soaps I am simultaneously working on my new web design business, creating websites for two amazing clients! In December I will close Nourish for the season and plan to sell my business and hand over to a new owner. Would you be interested in being that person? Contact me for a chat!

Off to go and make some more soap to start building my stocks for season. Interesting to think that this will be my last season after 15 years of doing it. I am excited at the prospect of time without soap making in the near future, time to step into some new interests next year. Onwards and Upwards!

I started making Farmhouse Soap years ago because I couldn’t bear to throw away all my colourful, scented soap offcuts. So I gathered them up, pressed them into big, chunky bars, and fell in love with the mix! Every slice is a little patchwork of Nourish goodness—different every time. It’s my step towards to zero waste and simple, honest living.

Early days of Nourish - picking spinach in my garden to add to my soaps. In those days I was experimenting and trying out all sorts of things to add to my soaps😋. Those original soaps are still the ones I make today - using my own soap recipe base of 90% coconut oil, shea butter and castor oil.😍

I've been making soap for nearly 15 years now! My life has changed a lot in these past years and I am supremely grateful the way that this business has carried me through all the ups and downs of my journey. It is a fantastic home business and I feel very happy for where it has taken me and the joy I have had in creating it.
