We’ve introduced a new procedure into our clinic which includes microdermabrasion in the form of mechanical exfoliation and the results are amazing (not to mention it’s painless!)

What happens during mechanical exfoliation?
- Vacuum occlusions pulls the skin into contact with a crystal embedded pad
- The top layer of the epidermis containing oils and bacteria is removed
- Blood vessels dilate
- The pores are dilated and cleansed

The question we always get - and here it is!

- We anaesthetise the skin with a topical anaesthetic and allow the skin to sit for 30 - 45 minutes before the treatment begins. This is to ensure you do not feel the needles during treatment.
- Once anaesthetised, we then remove the excess residue and begin treatment with the Skin Fuse Lyft which is loaded with hyaluronic acid to glide over the skin. Remember that each time the skin pen touches the skin 14 micro-channels are created to allow for better pe*******on of not only the hyaluronic acid, but also the products you use on a daily!
We alter the depth we use throughout the treatment as some areas require deeper pe*******on, especially areas of hyperpigmentation and scarring - but you will definitely not feel it.
- Once the treatment is completed, we then apply the iS Clinical Sheald Recovery Balm and provide you with the after care protocol
- Due to the fact that we use The Skin Precision Pen, a medical grade microneedling device, redness should begin to subside within the first 24 hours but can take up to 3 days

- MODERATE pressure is used to rub the eraser in circular motions and just like that, the hair falls, the skin is exfoliated and the magic works ✨
- A hydrating cream should be applied to the skin once the hair is removed and the skin is exfoliated (THIS IS ALWAYS A MUST WITH ANY EXFOLIATOR!)
- The eraser should be rinsed and placed in a clean area to dry.

- This product should be used 1-2 times a week as too much friction on the skin can result in unwanted hyperpigmentation.
- It is made primarily for the areas of the body with thicker skin such as the hands, arms, legs, feet and back, therefore be cautious with the underarm and bikini areas as irritation may occur there.
- The eraser should not be used on the face as the skin is much more sensitive and delicate.
- For sanitary reasons, the eraser is for single person usage.
