No, it’s actually much better to wash them at home after school. 🙂
If you need to change your pad during the day, you can simply clip the used pad closed with the soiled side safely folded inside and place it in your school bag until you get home.
Because Palesa Pads are cloth pads without harsh chemicals, there’s no strong smell like you often get with disposable pads. ✨
The pads are also made from stain-resistant fabric, so you can still be washed easily later at home.
Simple, hygienic, practical, and designed for real life. 🌸

Yes, absolutely!
A used Palesa Pad is clipped closed with the soiled area safely folded inside. The waterproof layer helps contain everything neatly, and the blood dries within the pad, so it does not leak as many people imagine.
Most school lunches are also packed separately in lunchboxes or bags, and many school bags have separate compartments or pockets that can be used if needed.
Palesa Pads are designed to be practical, discreet, and easy for girls to manage confidently throughout the school day. ✨

No, not at all. Menstrual blood doesn’t have a strong smell on its own. The odour many people experience usually comes from the chemicals (such as chlorine and bleach) in disposable pads reacting with the blood.
Palesa Pads are different:
✨ No harsh chemicals
✨ No artificial reactions
✨ Just clean, breathable fabric
Even when your pad is stored in your school bag or handbag, there’s no noticeable smell.
Plus, because Palesa Pads are gentle on your skin, they also help reduce the risk of irritation and rashes that can come from chemical-filled disposables.

Why do my breasts hurt when I have my period? 💗
This is completely normal, and many girls experience it.
Before and during your period, your body’s hormones change. These changes can make your breasts feel tender, sore, or a bit swollen.
The good news?
This feeling usually goes away after your period ends.
If it feels uncomfortable, wearing a supportive bra and taking it easy can help.
Your body is just doing what it’s meant to do - and you’re not alone. 🌸

Can I wash my Palesa Pads in a washing machine?
Yes - absolutely! 💚
You can safely wash your Palesa Pads in the washing machine, just keep these tips in mind:
✨ Wash them separately from your other laundry
✨ Use a cold, full cycle (not a quick wash)
✨ If possible, add a pre-soak cycle
✨ Add a little white spirit vinegar in the fabric softener compartment
If any marks remain, simply rub them gently with a laundry soap bar and rewash.
Taking care of your pads properly helps them last longer and keeps them fresh, clean, and ready to protect you. 🌸

Can you share your Palesa Pads?
It’s a question we get often - and the answer is no, you shouldn’t.
Just like underwear, Palesa Pads are personal, intimate items. Sharing them can increase the risk of infections and isn’t safe for your health.
🌟 If you don’t share your panties, don’t share your pads.
Rather help a friend get her own - because every girl deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and confident. 💚
