This is not how I planned to share the inception of the NakedSkin journey, but these results deserve the honor …

The story behind NakedSkin began 2 years back when I was battling a skin condition called Perioral Dermatitis. I struggled for months on end with dry, flakey, red, inflamed and itching skin around my mouth and the folds of my nose. The itching and the painful little breakouts were horrible. I was literally uncomfortable in my own skin. No amount of makeup could cover it up …. And to be honest, layering it all on made it feel so much worse. I was so self conscious. Going out in public was just horrible. And those were the days before one could cover up with a mask

I spent months (and loads of $$$) on dermatologist appointments, topical applications, and finally antibiotics. Only to find that the condition would clear for a week or two, and then flare up again worse than ever.

That was when I turned to researching natural remedies. I was desperate! It took a while, but I finally came up with a formulation that worked. I was the ultimate guinea pig. After 6 weeks of using the final “Rescue Serum” formulation I was clear. And have been ever since. No more flare-ups.

That was when I decided that “natural skincare” was the way forward and began the long journey of formulating the NakedSkin range.

The client featured in the pic above had much the same experience as I did. Her “before” pic is after her long course of antibiotics. She has now been using the NakedSkin Rescue Serum for 3 weeks. Although she is not out of the woods quite yet, you can see the dramatic improvement already.
