God Saw Me

Scripture:

“You are the God who sees me.” Genesis 16:13

Reflection:

There were seasons in my life when I felt unseen by people, by circumstances, even by myself. I carried responsibilities heavier than my strength and smiled through pain I didn’t know how to explain.

Like Hagar in the wilderness, I learned that God does not wait for us to be whole before He meets us. He finds us right where we are—tired, uncertain, and still trying.

Being seen by God didn’t immediately change my situation, but it changed me. It reminded me that my tears mattered, my journey mattered, and that my children and I were never abandoned.

If you are reading this while holding yourself together, know this: God sees you. Not the version you pretend to be, but the real you.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for seeing me in the places where I feel forgotten. Help me trust Your presence even when my life feels uncertain. Remind me that I am never alone.
