One landscape, endless possibilities.

From bold proteas to delicate textures and sculptural foliage, fynbos can take on an entirely different character depending on how it is arranged.

Rooted in the Cape. Recognised across a nation.

This Heritage Day, we celebrate the King Protea. South Africa’s national flower and one of the most recognisable symbols of our natural heritage.

A bouquet for the day and for long after it.

Fynbos brings natural texture, sculptural beauty and a distinctly South African character to a wedding bouquet. Many varieties also dry beautifully, which means your flowers can become a lasting keepsake once the celebration is over.

A little piece of the Cape to carry with you, and keep.

The award-winning Life After Fire exhibition brings the remarkable story of our fynbos landscapes home to Stanford this September.

Inspired by the extraordinary ability of the fynbos biome to regenerate after fire, the installation celebrates resilience, renewal and the biodiversity that makes the Cape Floral Kingdom so unique.

Following its success at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, this proudly South African display can now be experienced as part of Chelsea Flowers in Stanford, from 12–27 September 2026.

Before the vase, there is the veld.

Growing under the Cape sun, proteas are remarkably well adapted to the conditions of the fynbos biome, from nutrient-poor soils and strong winds to hot, dry summers.
It’s these conditions that have helped shape some of South Africa’s most distinctive flora.

Our fields are overflowing with pincushions.

The season arrived a little earlier this year, and it’s rewarding us with an abundance of these vibrant, unmistakable blooms. With their bold texture, brilliant colour and striking form, pincushions are one of the most recognisable flowers in the fynbos world.

They also offer excellent vase life and are relatively easy to care for, making them a beautiful choice to enjoy at home.

There’s more to a King Protea than meets the eye.

Next time you spot a King Protea, take a moment to look a little closer. What may seem like one magnificent flower is actually made up of countless tiny florets and intricate details. Nature really is in the details.

A little wild, a little refined, and unmistakably fynbos.
One of the things that makes fynbos so special is the way different colours, textures and shapes come together so naturally in a bouquet.
