Beeworx

Beeworx is a South African beekeeping company that was founded by my father in 2009. Initially the business consisted of seasonal raw honey, which we bottled and labelled according to the South African habitats they originated from. Some of the honey came from our own harvest, and the rest from local beekeepers we supported. Honesty, generosity and purity are the principles on which we built our business. From the very beginning our focus was on sustainability, with minimal wastage of by-products. After researching and experimenting with the different uses of honey and its by-products, we soon ventured into natural skin care. Pure, clean beeswax collected from the caps of honey combes is one of the biggest by-products of a beekeeping business - and it also turns out to be a skin care wonder product. We develop all our skin care products ourselves, and it is all hand made with generosity and love. I enjoy searching for the best organic ingredients and ensuring that all ingredients are natural active ingredients. We do not use fillers, chemicals or synthetic ingredients nor do we do or support animal testing of any form. We do use recyclable packaging, natural ingredients, plant based oils, therapeutic grade essential oils, as well as several other organic ingredients. We are passionate about sustainable, organic products that are good for you and good for the environment.
