Age is just a number indeed, you are never too old, to take on something new, nor reach for your dreams.These ladies, are living proof of that!

Entries are now open for the Mr and Mej Trekkerfees pageant, which will take place during the Bloem-Familie-Trekkerfees on 25 October 2025 at the Ferreira Museum in Quaggafontein, Bloemfontein. The pageant, hosted by V-Models, is open to males and females in two age categories: 5 to 12 years and 13 to 21 years. Contestants do not need any prior modeling experience, and winners will receive sashes, crowns and prizes. To enter, participants must pay an entry fee of R350 and submit proof of payment together with a recent photo, their name, surname, age and contact number via WhatsApp to 081 725 5081. Entries close on 20 September 2025. Bank details for registration payments are available under the name V-Models at Nedbank, account number 1159893810, branch code 198765. Finalists will be announced on the official V-Models and Bloem-Familie-Trekkerfees social media pages ahead of the event. Those selected will take part in the pageant finals on the day of the Trekkerfees. V-Models offers training in pageantry, runway, photographic and commercial modeling for participants from the age of five and older. The agency notes that the pageant is open to all and provides a platform for contestants to gain experience and showcase their individuality.
