The inspiration behind the album titled 'Africa' was inspired by the beauty in African women and how Obikay wanted to portray that in a musical sense.

Being an African woman herself, She wanted to encourage women to embrace not only their physical beauty but their inner strength too. To pursue their dreams no matter what circumstances may prevent ones ambition.

'Africa' will be a 17 track album, which delves into the emotions and story of Obikay in 2015. A dance album which has ups and downs & a new & fresh eclectic style of production.
