Most individuals are under the misconception that perfume mixing is extremely difficult, and they will not be able to do it. The thought of mixing your own perfume does not have to be daunting at all. At ScentCo we have simplified the process.

The following components are needed to manufacture a perfume:

• Mixing Container
• Measuring Jug
• Syringe
• Perfume Bottle/s
• Perfume Pump/s
• Fragrance Oil/s concentrate
• Alcohol Compound
• Name Labels

STEP 1 – Mixing of the perfume:

Perfumes have different categories:

1 - 3% - Eau Fraich
2 - 6% - Eau de Cologne (EDC)
5 - 15% - Eau de Toilette (EDT)
15 - 20% - Eau de Parfume (EDP)
15 - 40% - Pure Parfume (Parfum)

We always recommend a 20% dosage which is an Eau de Parfum (this perfume should last at least 8 hours)

100ml Fragrance Oil:
1. Pour your 100ml Fragrance oil into a mixing container.
2. Measure 400ml Alcohol compound into a jug.
3. Add your measured 400ml Alcohol compound to your
Fragrance oil.
4. Close the lid of the mixing container and shake for 10-30
seconds.
5. Apply the matching Name label of the Fragrance to the mixing
container to prevent cross contamination by using the same
container for a different Fragrance.
6. You now have 500ml perfume ready to be filled into your
desired bottles.

50ml Fragrance Oil:
1. Pour your 50ml Fragrance oil into a mixing container.
2. Measure 200ml Alcohol compound into a jug.
3. Add your measured 200ml Alcohol compound to your
Fragrance oil.
4. Close the lid of the mixing container and shake for 10-30
seconds.
5. Apply the matching Name label of the Fragrance to the mixing
container to prevent cross contamination by using the same
container for a different Fragrance.
6. You now have 250ml perfume ready to be filled into your
desired bottles.

Step 2 – Filling your perfume bottles:
1. With your syringe, extract the perfume bulk from the mixing
container and fill your perfume bottles to the point where it
forms a bubble around the hole of the neck of the bottle.
Apply the matching Name label to the syringe to prevent cross
contamination by using the same syringe for a different
Fragrance.
2. Measure the length of your pumps straw to extend to the
bottom corner of the perfume bottle when your pump is
attached to the bottle. Cut the straw at a 45-degree angle.
3. Attach your pump and cap to the bottle.
4. Apply the correct matching Name label to your perfume
bottle.
5. You now have a filled perfume ready to be sold.
