The right to menstrual care and dignity is a fundamental human right, fundamentally linked to equality, health, education, and dignity. The inability to manage menstruation safely and with dignity—known as period poverty—violates these basic rights, forcing many women and girls to miss school, work, and face stigma and discrimination.

Distributing Sustainable Dignity"Initiative: Initiatives are often launched during Human Rights Month to provide sanitary products to disadvantaged women, aiming to make pads a basic rights.

Standing together with to normalize periods as a healthy part of life and empower young women to embrace their bodies without shame.Talking to girls about their periods should be an open, ongoing conversation initiated around age 8–16, focusing on puberty, body changes, and menstruation as a normal, healthy process.

Our visit to and Girls SA in Protea Glen was amazing. Girls were engaging and asking lots of questions very triggering to their thoughts what they normally don't discuss with people close to them.

Power to young girls to speak shamelessly about their periods.

Difficult talks with young girls School Johannesburg South. Thanks to Randeor school for giving us an opportunity with their lovely girls this Women's month.

Mrs Mahlangu her self, thank you for engaging young girls at that level all the way from Care at Midstream Hospital.

To my Sustained2thrive Khumo Maake Maake and Nokumuka Dube team forward we go. We'll talk periods to women and girls until it's a normal topic to speak about.

Periods are natural and we speak against the stigma.

There is so much much power in collaboration. Social impact needs more like minded businesses, NGO and community to tackle.

Together with @fordsouthafrica and we had such an incredible Mandela Month for young girls in the communities where Ford operates like Mamelodi and Qherbegha on PE. The girls were gifted with Mentrual comic book, reusable sanitary pads, herbal tea for period pains.

The journey was so beautiful seeing young girls being so excited to be shown love and compassion 💕.

We do not stop here. The journey continues this woman's month. Watch the space for more.

A big thanks to
