What makes Microblading different from Machine Hairstrokes (Hyper Realistic Brows) 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
*1. Tool Used*
~Machine Hairstroke Brows: Done using a digital permanent makeup machine with a fine needle cartridge.
~Microblading: Done manually using a handheld tool with ultra-fine blades.
*2. Technique*
~Machine Hairstrokes: Creates hair-like strokes by implanting pigment in the skin using a controlled, gentler tapping or brushing motion.
~Microblading: Involves cutting the skin with the blade to create strokes and deposit pigment directly into the cuts.
*3. Skin Trauma & Healing*
~Machine Hairstrokes: Less traumatic to the skin, suitable for all skin types (especially oily or sensitive skin), and often heals better with fewer scars.
~Microblading: Can be harsher and may not retain well in oily, textured, or mature skin, sometimes leading to blurring or patchiness.
*4. Retention & Longevity*
~Machine: Typically longer-lasting and fades more evenly over time.
~Microblading: Tends to fade quicker, especially on oily skin.
*5. End Result*
~Machine Hairstroke: More natural and soft, mimics the look of real fine hairs.
~Microblading: Can appear sharper at first, but may heal more powdery or blurred, especially over time.
Requirements: no previous permanent makeup, or it has to be extremely faded for us to work with 🙌🏼

What inspired me
Life gets so busy sometimes, people don’t always deem it important to ensure they all they need to when it comes to decision making.
I have been inspired to take Micropigmentation on as my career as i have experienced being the client under a needle on the table of an artist (two actually). I did not know better than what was advertised to me, how effortless and easy it would be to go on my daily routine being a new Momma and not always having to worry about my make-up. Yes they looked great right after, so dark and obvious... and i thought that the pain was so worth it, right? NOPE! Little did i know with my first set done with a special machine, the pigment was added into my skin WAY too deep! After they healed, they were off center. I went back for a touch up hoping they would be fixed, just to have them be grey after the following healed period.
Two years later i decided to meet with someone else, who worked with the Microblading Pen (no machine) and i experienced so much more pain during this session i could literally feel my teeth crack as i grinded them down. I haven’t gone back again and it left me back to square one, having to color my face before i want to be seen by others.
For me, it’s important to build a relationship with someone and bring that little something to make a huge difference. Even if this difference is made with the therapy in between ;-)
