• 90° through the front of the brow
• 45° through the body
• 0° towards the tail

Has your lash retention suddenly changed, even though your aftercare routine hasn’t? Your medication, hormones or natural lash cycle could possibly be playing a part. 👀

Changes inside the body may sometimes influence:

① How quickly your natural lashes move through their growth and shedding cycle.
② Your skin’s oil production, which may affect the adhesive bond and cause extensions to shed sooner.

Some factors that may contribute include:

• Thyroid conditions or medication
• Hormonal changes, birth control, pregnancy, postpartum changes or HRT
• Hair and nail supplements such as biotin
• Acne and skin treatments such as isotretinoin or retinoids
• Certain blood-pressure, cholesterol or mood medications

This doesn’t necessarily mean that your medication is responsible. Seasonal shedding, aftercare, skincare products, your natural lash cycle and other factors can also influence retention.

⚠️ Most importantly: Never stop or adjust prescribed medication for cosmetic reasons. Your health will always come first.
