DISCLAIMER
Perfumes are not local, but imported. A Parallel Import is a genuine product which is imported from another country without the consent of the Intellectual Property right owner. The Parallel Import is then sold in the country (SA) at a lower price and without the usual guarantee and/or after sales service that usually comes with it. Perfume Cosmos importing of pharmaceuticals reduces the price of the products.
DAMAGED STOCK: In certain cases, damaged or defects may be present on the product itself. It could be damages such as scratches, loose caps, wrongly spelled or incorrectly printed branding etc. These rejected items will never be thrown away and have their own vendor for disposal. Since there are so many manufacturers for these various brands of perfumes, there would be enough stock for distributors such as ourselves to sell them.
AFTER SHIPPING REJECTS: After shipping rejects is one of the common rejects for all products. In most cases, it only affects the packaging but not the bottle. Stock could have been exposed to extreme heat conditions for lengthy periods of time affecting the intensity of the fragrance.
EXPIRED STOCK: After quite some time, perfume may expire. For example; if one batch is valid for say 8 months, but is not cleared in time, it will be returned to where it came from. The perfumes are still in good condition even after the sell by date and sold as a reject. Some products could stay for months or even years before being released.
Disclaimers and Exclusions of Liability: We cannot guarantee that all perfumes bought are reject free. That is why they are sold at a lower price. No claims are made on our products and no false promises. Perfumes are to be bought at one's own risk and discretion. These are definitely original and of high quality and great value for money.
Perfumes do come in their original boxes, packaging and bottles and are completely sealed. Some perfumes may have been in circulation longer, therefore the scent may not last as long as the perfumes bought in the store.
NB: Please do not compare your reject fragrance to those bought in the store as the quality and intensity will not be the same. Not all perfumes have the same quality. Packaging may have changed. You get old packaging and, in the store, you'll find new packaging with improved fragrances.
