Saterdagmiddag vanaf 14:00 tot 15:30, bied ons 'n ons geleentheid vir mammas met spesiale behoeftige en begaafde kinders by Lewende Woord Brummeria aan. Hierdie uitnodiging is oop vir alle mammas van kinders met spesiale behoeftes wat met ander mammas wil skakel.

Alle denominasies welkom. Voel asseblief welkom en kom saam met 'n vriend of familielid en kom ons vier wie ons is as mammas met spesiale behoeftige en begaafde kinders.

Homemade Soap Making Workshop

Topics during the workshop:
- Science behind soapmaking, and why you would want to make your own soap.
- Different oils and what are their qualities.
- What is Lye and how to use it safely.
- Lye calculator and how to formulate your own recipes.
- Demonstration on how to make soap.
- Practical session where you will make your own 1kg soap from scratch to take home (not just a melt and pour soap)
- Cut your own piece of soap from a pre-made soap loaf and decorate.

What you need to bring with on the day:
- Old clothes to wear during the practical session.
- Stick blender / immersion blender.
