The skin microbiome plays an important role in the health of the skin. The skin microbiome refers to all microorganisms that settle on the skin. These microorganisms make a significant contribution to protecting the skin from harmful germs and pro-inflammatory microbes and to strengthening its resistance. To prevent foreign, potentially harmful microbes from settling on the skin, it makes sense to strengthen the multitude of "good" microorganisms. In addition, the resident microorganisms of the skin flora produce metabolic products that have a positive effect on the functions of the skin.
