✂️ The Cut

* The strong, clean bob line is beautifully defined and gives the style that unmistakable vintage character.
* The short, structured fringe is very period-inspired and frames the face beautifully.
* The shape has a lovely rounded silhouette, especially through the back and sides, which gives it that classic 1940s geometric feel.
* I love the contrast between the solid perimeter and the smooth, controlled finish. There’s nowhere for an uneven line to hide with a cut like this!

🎨 The Colour

The deep brunette/near-black colour works exceptionally well with the shape. It gives the hair that rich, glossy, almost film-noir vintage quality associated with classic mid-century styling.

The subtle warmth coming through the darker base keeps it from looking completely flat, while the shine helps emphasise those beautifully clean lines.
